Message | NATIONAL PROSPERITY PARTY'S APPEAL/PETITION CONCERNING ABOUT THE PUBLIC SERVICE BILL This bill is totally disagreeable. It will destroy our economy, cause more powerty and inequality. National Prosperity Party will strongly oppose it and arrange protests all around the country. Real democracy needs real capitalism. This bill only increases the power of politicians and government. We don't need more corruption! With respect: Frederic Marlett Bell-Smith, President of National Prosperity Party Marianna Gartner, Secretary General of National Prosperity Party |

Message | In fact, nationalised economy will significantly cut costs in several ways. With central planning, duplication of work will be all but eliminated. Why have two factories in one town producing a single item? Instead, such sites can be merged to produce a far greater output, shorter hours, better conditions and higher pay. Democratic control will eliminate the profit drain that comes from shareholders and executives who view the industry not as a service for the nation's benefit but as an easy payout. Investment will not go to flashy showmen who advertise a huge profit. Instead new investment will be based on social benefit. Instead of the rich investing for the benefit of the rich the state will invest for the benefit of the people. In truth, the "free market" is a lie, in a modern economy where most business costs are fixed, not marginal, competition drives prices towards an unprofitable marginal cost incapable of covering fixed costs. Only through mergers, trusts and cartels can "capitalism" survive (that is, by becoming "corporatism"). Economics tends towards monopoly, our decision now is whether this should be in the hands of the democratically-elected government of New Endralon or with the power-hungry profit-driven capitalists. |
