Message | The LP feels that, as energy will soon be provided solely by private companies, there is no need to maintain a public power grid and public power generators. Retaining the government's grip on the energy industry only ensures inefficiency and further burdens taxpayers. OOC: Note that because these companies do not directly sell to consumers, only to the energy companies themselves, there are no options for subsidies for the poor, nor are they necessary. |
