Bill: Correcting the Rights of Workers on Strike
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Centrist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2708
Description[?]:
If an employer is allowed to fire anyone who goes on strike, there is no point in allowing strikes in the first place. However, an employer should be allowed to fire workers that have gone on strike for the wrong reasons, but it shouldn't be up to the employer himself/herself to decide whether or not it is legitimate. |

Old value:: Employers are free to fire workers who go on strike.
Current: Employers cannot fire workers who have gone on strike.
Proposed: Employers can fire workers who are deemed to have gone on strike without reasonable reasons.

Message | Incidentally there can be no neutral body, the state is never neutral but tends to represent the interests of the dominant group in society. |

Message | Again who would the body be? Union would just support the workers. Employers should not be allowed to fire anyone who goes on strike. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
