Bill: Privacy Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Independent Radical List

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2710

Description[?]:

A national identity card system requires the holding of large amounts of personal data, this represents an unacceptable invasion of privacy. Add to this the risk of the data falling into the wrong hands, leading to large scale ID fraud etc, and we believe there is an unanswerable case for abolishing the ID card system.
