Bill: Freedom for Youth: School's Out Forever
Details
Submitted by[?]: Industrialist Party of Aloria
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2713
Description[?]:
Citizens of Aloria were horrified as news came through of a shooting spree in a small school in the State of Ultran. Anthony Harrison, a frustrated student fed up with school work, entered the school this yesterday morning armed with a gun and began shooting students and teachers indiscriminately. After killing 13 people and wounding 5 more, Anthony Harrison committed suicide before being arrest by law enforcement. Former teacher Victor Roberts told reporters how the community was still in a state of shock and how this tragedy would haunt Aloria for years to come. President Martin Grant has since traveled to the area to attend the funerals of the victims. We in the IPA believe that the underlying cause of this isn't bullying, it isn't taunting, but it is merely the fascist state of our school systems! To force the young child impressionable child into "education"(for really it is just schooling, not necessarily education) is horribly fascist in the worst way. Young Mr. Harrison was just crying for a way out of the prison that is compulsory education. Please help our children, and vote for a change for freedom. |

Message | If education becomes voluntary, no child will ever go to school. Do we want a nation of dumb people? No. We want knowledge, future scientists and economists. |

Message | If large amounts of school work results in massacres, we would probably have a few of them per day. |

Message | "If education becomes voluntary, no child will ever go to school. Do we want a nation of dumb people? No. We want knowledge, future scientists and economists." Education is a lifelong process, schooling on the other hand is ineffective or effective based on the circumstances of the child. Either way it is a crime to infringe on the inalienable rights of children and all human beings, chiefly life, LIBERTY, and the pursuit of happiness. We are denying our children the rights of all humans, adult or otherwise. And maybe if children were given an INTERESTING learning environment the would like school. |

Message | Cause we'll need better paid teachers to do it, and also better facilities and text books, in order to make that interesting learning environment. |

Message | The CWP fully endorses this policy, formal, compulsory education teaches very little apart from always submitting to authority. Support for this policy from a progressive standpoint can be found here http://classic.particracy.net/vieworganization.php?organizationid=1914 |
