Message | "...it reduces the freedom the Commonwealth gives to the world." As far as we are concerned, the only freedoms that should be important to the parliament of Rutania are the constitutional freedoms of our citizens, within our borders. We do not believe that Rutania is obligated to open her borders for the sake of international 'freedom', and this global freedom the NEP advocates - regardless of any ideological or ethical underpinnings - would, in practice, be destructive to our society, our culture, and our job markets, place an unnecessary strain on social services and tax-payers, and cause social fragmentation and increases in crime rates. We are fervently opposed to open-border globalism in all of its forms, and if this legislation limits the 'freedom the Commonwealth gives to the world', frankly, we believe that to be a good thing. |

Message | This global freedom we talk about would offer future equality for all. Rutania should be a haven, not somewhere you have to wait in line for. This bill will not pass! |

Message | We could tend to support this bill. For many a year Rutania has had an 'open border' policy. However the current system works fine as it is. We prefer the quotas on people's qualifications. Foreigners with higher standard qualifications who want to work in Rutania is accepted. Prime Minister Abraham James Zoratatt |

Message | While we support any bill that helps to protect this nation, I feel that this piece of legislation goes too far. If there was a major disaster in one of our allied nations, they would be subjected to harsh treatment, and that would leave a black eye on this Commonwealth. Therefore, the National Unity Party will not support this bill. |

Message | "This global freedom we talk about would offer future equality for all.." Even if this is so, is 'equality for all' actually a desirable thing? If the 'NEP' are referring to equality among people from other nations, this would be an equality dangerous to our nation and its people, in the ways that we have previously mentioned - it would be destructive to our domestic job markets, place an unfair burden on tax-payers and social services, cause increases in crime, and undermine our cultural coherence and identity. If this is what the 'NEP's 'equality' means, we fervently oppose it. "Rutania should be a haven, not somewhere you have to wait in line for.." Rutania should not be a dumping ground for the world's criminals and poor, which is what it will become if we continue to leave our borders wide open. The globalist Utopia the 'NEP' envisages, in which anyone can come to our nation freely, is a naive fantasy. The reality is that thousands will stream from poverty-stricken or war-torn nations, not with the intentions of becoming a Rutanian, or pledging their allegiance to this country, or integrating into our society and culture, but with the intentions of exploiting her economy and over-generous welfare services, whilst essentially remaining a proud citizen of their native homelands. |

Message | The IP have decided to not support the bill dued to the reason that the current law of "Quotas are based on individual applicant's qualifications." is prefered in the IP Prime Minister Abraham James Zoratatt |
