Message | This is dangerously close to slave labor. We support rehabilitation, but making the prison system into a system of workhouses is not the way to do that. |

Message | Prisons are made to rehabilitate while providing punishment for crimes. Prisoners should be treated well but at the same time they are serving a sentense for crimes against society and therefore should work to help society in prison. This asct may also help keep people out of prison since it will be less like a hotel and free residense and more like a prison. |

Message | If manditory labor was to be inforced in our prisons, there would be outrage. |

Message | Though this is true we believe that some sacrafices must be made. Our prisoners have it too easy. We do not punish crime as much as we should. This is my parties stance. |

Message | We agree completely and there was a bill past to ensure that the prisons are well kept as far as I know. We believe that prisoners should be treated well and maintain a healthy life but also we do not think they should live on easy street so to speak. Work is also a very healthy task for prisoners to take part in. Studies show that people are more happy when they are physically active. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
