Bill: Formalisation of Religion
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hulstrian People's Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2718
Description[?]:
As religious leaders are subject to the government for their appointment, the government ought to set their rates of pay, as they are in a quasi-public servant position as it stands. At present, we believe that the actual salaries should be borne by the religious organisations themselves, due to the lack of tax on religions. |
Proposals

Old value:: The state does not intervene in the remuneration of ministers of religion.
Current: The state does not intervene in the remuneration of ministers of religion.
Proposed: The salaries and pensions of ministers of religions shall be regulated by the law, but shall be borne by the religious communities themselves.
