Message | We cannot regard keeping public buildings free of religious symbols as an intrusion into human rights. What about those who might be offended by the presence of what they regard as representative symbols of an oppressive belief system? We regard this measure as the best solution to the problem. What clothing and symbols people wear outside or in privately owned buildings remains for them to decide, but these things have no place in public buildings. |
