Message | Having no budget for Science and Technology, Food and Agriculture, Environment and Tourism, Trade and Industry is foolhardy. We do not want to revert to the dark ages. |

Message | Publicly funded science and technology lead to things like atom bombs, and research into things believed to be good by special-interest groups, whereas privately funded endeavors result in things like cures, productive technology, and things that generally make life easier. Publicly funded food and agriculture just impedes the affairs of well-to-do farmers and encourages a lack of work. Such things being private allows for higher production. Publicly funded environmental endeavours require more research by independent panels in order for funds to be allocated. Until then, all other protection agencies are better left in the hands of the private sector. As for tourism, this is just a feeble attempt to put private businesses in the hands of the government. The same goes for Trade and Industry. Our people deserve better than to have their money go toward such useless endeavours. |
