Message | We feel this bill is extremely important, and strongly ask people to look beyond any ideological biases to what best serves the Kanjoran people. |

Message | As a small concession to conservative parties to make it more likely to gain bipartisan support for the power grid portions of the bill, we have just added a provision, unrelated as it may be, to raise the retirement age to 62. We hope that if this does not gain any conservative support, or especially if it loses liberal support, that people will let us know before we call the vote. |

Message | We strongly oppose the retirement age amendment. We could agree to all else. Raising retirement age will raise unemployment (high in most/all of Kanjor). I also disagree with forcing people to continue working for even longer. |

Message | Okay, we'll remove it. The idea of having in it there was only if it increased the other very important provisions' chances of passing. Since it seems to decrease them instead, we will remove it. |

Message | I believe this presents the best of both worlds. Allowing both private and public power generation gives people the freedom to choose. And local regions controlling their own grids means the people will be taken better care of than had it been a monopoly or national. |

Message | We wish also to point out that the current system badly needs fixing. If one private company owns the power grid, the monopoly profits they gain cause costs to soar. It isn't even good for the retailers of power, the power companies, as the supplies from their monopoly wholesaler will cost much more than is necessary. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
