Message | As unsavoury as it may be we need these weapons for defence. |
Date | 10:04:17, March 07, 2009 CET | From | People's Party - Republican Democrats | To | Debating the Complete Ban of Non-Conventional Weaponry Bill of 2721 |
Message | Nuclear, chemical and biological weapons are absolutely unsuitable for defensive purposes, and all they do is to inflict unreasonable harm on everyone within their area of effect, including the civilian population. There is absolutely no need to even develop such technologies, especially as laboratories involved in research in such matters are an incalculable hazard to their surroundings, even under the strictest regulations. |
Date | 12:42:41, March 07, 2009 CET | From | National Populist Party | To | Debating the Complete Ban of Non-Conventional Weaponry Bill of 2721 |
Message | Weapons of Mass Destruction are sometimes necessary to maintain a status quo. If in the future we are in need of keeping the status quo in such a way with a foreign aggressor, then we should have our research into WMDs to fall back on. |
