Colleagues, This is a proposal to end the practice of prostitution which reduces women to little more than sexual objects that can be bought. We encouage all parties to help us make this practice illegal, so we can prevent women from selling themselves short and entering this sordid profession out of desperation. |

Message | Making prostitution illegal is only the first(and easiest,I would say) step towards getting rid of it. Afterwards you have to fight with the cause of prostitution:poverty and lack of education. And that takes a loooong time. |

In other words if you tax it too much nobody will recognize that are prostituting themselves so they can avoid paying taxes, so we would be back to where we started. We are suprised that this is the reason you vote against. We would expect you to vote against so you can protect the rights of the women who want to prostitute because they like it. There are some you know! |
