The once-joyous People of our beloved Likatonia seem unhappy, tired. Dismayed by lack of choice. In order to remedy this situation, The Immortal Zhelezo Immeressen (peace be unto Him) wishes to take some time to bring REAL solutions to the People. Resolution: The People of Likatonia shall be hereby required to register for mandatory 'happiness' training at 'Happy Camps' to be established hereafter. Such visitation is to continue until a citizen reaches and maintains an agreed level of contentment. Legislation to follow. |

Message | The cost of this proposal is minimal, since all 'cost' endeavours would only follow in the wake of legislation being approved. The costs for that legislation should not be too excessive. Basic joy monitoring, including spotchecks, workplace surveillance, monitoring of electronic and personal mail, etc for anti-happy content - should be a relatively light cost, and can be shared between Health departments, Intelligence departments and Defence departments, since there will be correlative positive aspects for internal security. In response to the LIP - why would people be unhappy, or insincerely happy, if they were faced with the choice of 'happiness' or 'internment in happy-camps'? Surely everyone would be positively overjoyed, all the time? The camps might be a little more of a cost, but that is largely a one-off cost. |
