Message | This proposal is almost as absurd as the connected tax proposal. The Berosian Party is trying to make the poor pay through their noses and is at the same time trying to slash the budget for the most essential services for the less well-off in half. |
Date | 05:27:32, March 12, 2009 CET | From | Berosian Party | To | Debating the Financial Reform 2-Spending |
Message | We are trying to spend money responsibly, and give power back to the people of Aldegar, rather than in the hands of the elite few in government. If the PPP/SD fail to see that the people of Aldegar are more responsible than we in government are, I would suggest they simply admit that they are communists. |

Message | The Berosian Party is trying to slash the buget to 214,200,700,000 ACR with substantial cuts in essential government responsibilities that benefits the poor,, thereby accruing a surplus of about the same amount, and is at the same time proposing a income tax flate rate of 30% from the first crown that yields more than 400,000,000,000 ACR and which makes anyone earning below 2000 ACR a lot MORE taxes. These people certainly won't feel empowered by Berosian policies. We would suggest that the Berosian Party simply admit that they are the uncaring party of the rich elite. |

Message | Baby steps.... Once we pass this legislation, a tax cut will proceed. We would never plunge our nation into a deficit, in any bill. Such action is foolhardy. We must first cut programs, THEN cut taxes. Cutting taxes first without the guarantee of a reduced budget would lead to a massive deficit, and plunge our nation into economic ruin. If it were up to us, there would be no income tax. There would be no corporate tax. There would be little or no sales tax. There would be even less government spending. And the people of Aldegar would retain their money, and they would be happy. A job for every citizen and a paycheck at the end of the week. This is our vision for Aldegar. The PPP/SD's? Apparently it is to give handouts and create a culture of entitlement, while destroying our nation's economy. |

Message | Baby steps ... until the baby falls over and starts crying. The PPP/SD believe in socail solidarity, while the Berosian Party strategy (if there is one, which is doubtful, regarding their wild, and wildly irresponsible, proposals about finance reform) seem to be to destroy the very fabric of our society. |
