Description[?]:
It is a sad day when Telamonians must spill the blood of they're brother Telamonians, becuse they are animals and not humans. I would call this as much as racism as much as killing other humans for bieng from another kind. There is not even one reason to let humans within Telamon to keep killing animals for no reason, even when the murder of animals is regulated, non of the animals, endangered or not, must be put to danger from humans. They got enough problems allready, and we got ours. So for this reason, I propose a ban for killing animals within Telamon for no reason. |
Proposals

Message | The reason the killing of animals is regulated is to insure that killings do not happen without reason or senselessly, but the killing of animals is sometimes necessary whether it be for reasons of safety or ecological balance. Drake Dalton Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | Of course, these would be the same reason to kill a human. Aren't humans getting overcrowded around earth? If animals are killed for ecological balance then humans should too. They are the most dangerous predetors on earth. But the TEP is a pacifist party, we would not support the death of any creature, so we could just leave it to not killing animals for no justified reason. Tree Etzalon, Chairman of the Telamonian Environmental Party. |

Message | Yeah but animals are food. I have many problems with this bill. This bill is inhibiting to Telamonian business interests, and would create an addiction to foreign meat. If we cannot kill animals in Telamon, we would go to foreign sources for our beef, pork, chicken, etc. Our domestic production would be non-existent. Not to mention all the businesses that specialize in killing animals. Mouse traps, fly swatters, firearms and exterminators would all be useless, and the meat industry would be indicted. Also, what about bugs. If a mosquito lands on your arm, and you slap it, if this bill was passed is that a crime? This bill would be horrible for the people of Telamon. |

Message | You did not understand what I sayed. There is no justification to kill animals for no reason, a problem in many countries, where every teenager could go and slice the neck of a cat. Of course, my intentions were not to stop the production of meat, or to let pests to annoy you. But look at it logicaly - if a burgler would come to your house and you would kill him, you would go to jail. For that same reason, if you kill an animal becuse, say, it lurks in your backyard instead of putting it away, then it should be a crime. |

Message | Yeah but this bill makes killing animals illegal. It might not be your intention, but it would prohibit meat factories and hunting animals. It would kill essential economic vitality in Telamon, and put thousands out of jobs. I can't believe it even came close to passing. |
