Bill: Seats in General Assembly
Details
Submitted by[?]: Pan-Quanzarian Conservative Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2735
Description[?]:
Okay, so right now, we have 75 seats. 75/2 = 37.5, rounded to 38. Now, with four parties, 75/4 = 18.75, rounded to 19. Which means 19 seats on average for 3 parties, and 18 for one. Instead, if each party gets 38 seats, like the average before myself and the other party with no seats came, there would be 152 seats, and an extra seat for a more dominant party. Now, I'm not saying, because I know it won't, that everything will be divided perfectly. But this system will allow more room to be made for more parties, which will benefit us all in the end. |
