Bill: Sexual Education In Schools
Details
Submitted by[?]: Techno-Revolutionary Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2738
Description[?]:
This bill will amend the current policy so as to allow sexual education in schools. As we already provide free contraception materials in public toilets and other places it makes sense to ensure that children know going through puberty what these materials are, how they can access them and when they should be used. Children should be made aware of what is and is not appropriate sexual practice. Many children who do not receive this education may not know that they are being sexually abused until much later in life, and educating them as to what is and is not appropriate and when it is appropriate will help to fix this problem. In order to accomodate those who may object to their children receiving this education in schools, parents and individuals will be able to opt-out of receiving this education. |
