MessageWe would be willing to accept this if Leopold II accepted purely a symbolic role in Rildanor.

(ooc: Was reading the roles of the monarchy in the wiki. We would like to see the powers of royal accent, etc stripped).

MessageThe monarch represents a sober second thought, serving as a check on the government. The power of Royal Assent remains a vital part of the proper functioning of the Senate and the security of the people.

OOC: The monarchy actually already has a symbolic role. Not once has the refusal to grant Royal Assent ever occurred, primarily because no one controls the monarch. I am an aristocratic party, which is why I always put these kinds of things to a vote. And besides, the mechanics of this game do not even allow a head of state to refuse Royal Assent.
