Bill: Administrative Update Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Techno-Revolutionary Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2738
Description[?]:
...We have noticed that the current title of "President of the Revolutionary Government" has been described by some of the Barmenian parties as not inappropriate but simply too long, or perhaps overly verbose. We feel that the simple title of Revolutionary President keeps the current feel but makes it a much more simple title. The same has been said of "Central Assembly of People's Power." Again, Popular Assembly gives it the same connotation of a central people's assembly but is much more concise while still being descriptive. Further, we feel that given the increasing living standards in Barmenia and our increasing population that the professional retirement age could be reduced to 55. As we are always expanding our implementation of new scientific improvements upon industrial efficiency and automation there is less labour that needs to be done in this day and age so such a reduction is justified. |

Message | In our opinion the retirement age must be raised; ours is already amongst the lowest in Terra, and the fact is that the department of social services would not have enough money to support this change. |

Message | If they need help, the Schultzist Movement can help out. We fully support the retirement age if it is not mandatory. |
