We, the Directorate of the Federation of Zardugal, do hereby create the Office of the Deputy Director-General of the Federation of Zardugal

The following clauses apply:

1) The Deputy Director-General shall serve in the Cabinet and adviser to the Director-General at the discretion of the Director-General.
2) The Deputy Director-General shall be the first one in the line of succession.
3) The Deputy Director-General shall be appointed by the Director-General and confirmed by the Directorate. A simple majority of the votes cast is needed for confirmation.
4) The Office of the Vice-President shall receive its funding through the Office of the Head of Government
5) The Deputy Director-General shall not have any powers of control or management of the military even with the approval of the Director-General.

This is a Constitutional Amendment and requires a 2/3 majority in order to be approved.
