In light of Pontesis military mobilisation and mass expulsion of Muslims, we are urging the Assembly approve the mobilisation of the army under the command of the Defence Minister to deal with the potential refugee crisis, and be ready in case any hostile action is taken against us.

We stress that this does not authorise offensive actions against Pontesi.

MessagePontesi can only hope that our message that the arrest and expulsion of member of the member of Islamic Church of Terra and not the muslim are for the security reason as the organization have declare their intention of aggression aganist Pontesi. We can only hope that the Central Assembly of People's Power will take careful consideration of all facts before making any rash decision.

MessageWe appreciate Pontesi is only trying to act to protect it's national security, however its rash actions and outlawing of religious organisations make this a very flawed attempt to do so. If Pontesi will end its persecution of Schultzists and Islamic Church of Terra members, and make amends for it's past transgression, Barmenia, and we are sure the Terran Caliphate, will not hold grudges, and work towards re-establishing mutual cooperation.

IC:

Pontesi can't allow foreign nation to intervene in our internal affairs to set our policy for us. We appreciate Barmenistan and Islamic Church of Terra concern but Pontesi isn't the nation responsible for this transgression. We didn't threaten other nation with war for the reason that we outlaw organization that failed to uphold the law of Pontesi.

We are willing to recognize Schultzists with the guaranteed that the organization musr remain apolitical and biding to the law of Pontes, but if Pontesi were to end this so called "persecution" as many claimed then the Terran Caliphate must also end their persucation of Christian and Jew in Kafuristan and Talmoria too.

MessageOOC: Bah, you spend four centuries or so interfering with Beiteynuese internal affairs; I do the same and you think I'm annoying? :P

If it helps, I was initially more in favour of taking the Pontesian side on this one, in case the Axis are tempted to get involved on behalf of Beiteynu; it would just seem too unfair for Pontesi to fight everyone. I don't see how knowing that would help, but meh.

IC: We assume the Schultzists would accept such an agreement, but we cannot speak for them. Nor can we speak for the Terran Caliphate, and do not agree that linking Pontesian internal affairs with those in the Caliphate is either correct or practical.

In regards to the Islamic Church of Terra, you must realise there is a difference between it and the Caliphate. While it is correctly stated by the Caliph that the Caliphate will protect the Islamic Church of Terra from those who attack it, it is not correct to assume from that that all actions of the Caliphate are the responsibility of the ICT. We do not see where the Holy Islamic Church made any threats against Pontesi; as it is a purely religious organisation, any threats would be very foolish, since they would be unable to back them up. Having a dispute with the Caliphate is one thing; shutting down the Holy Islamic Church is an act of persecution.

MessageThe TUS is already apolitical as much as any religion can claim or hope to be and we already abide by the law. If the TUS were allowed to organize our members and teach all of them to abide by the law, that would help to assure that they will continue to sbide by the law.

MessageThe Techno-Revolutionary Party feels that this bill is a thinly veiled threat directed at Pontesi. Existing civilian infrastructure is already equipped to deal with an influx of refugees, and their arrival is hardly something that would constitute an "emergency."

We feel that we should not get involved in this conflict, nor should we be mobilising our military along our border with Pontesi or Beiteynu. We should not mobilise and we should stay out of this conflict completely, unless one of our neighbours attacks us.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
