| The Genuine Progress Alliance propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Aloria. 1 BILLION DECREASED FROM HEALTH, EDUCATION One billion ALO (1,000,000,000 ALO) has been decreased from the Health ministry because we believe that it receives more than enough money in the current budget. We believe this is manageable through a more conservative spending in the budget for Health and reduction in some unnecessary expenses. Education Minister Roel Paul has volunteered to slash one billion ALO (1,000,000,000 ALO) from the budget allocation in his ministry to further bring an end to the deficit. He says that the ministry can manage through a conservative spending of the budget allocated. This is done in order to compromise with the Health ministry, which is probably against the cut on their ministry alone. DEFICIT REMOVED; SURPLUS TO BE GAINED This budget proposal will remove the current deficit of 1,479,578,014 ALO and will bring in a surplus of 1,020,421,986 ALO. This will be very beneficial to Alorian taxpayers and the government. REFORMIST BUDGET By imposing a slight decrease in the budget, we are creating a reform that can be adjusted well by the government and will not cause any huge side effects caused by sudden revolutionary decreases in the budget. |
