| The Genuine Progress Alliance propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Aloria. 2 BILLION DECREASED FROM PEACETIME BUDGET FOR DEFENCE At the suggestion of the Democratic People's Front/SFFA, two billion ALO (2,000,000,000 ALO) will be slashed from the Defence Ministry. Considering that it is currently peace time in Aloria and the demand for weapons and other military equipment is lesser, slashing the budget on Defence can be considered as a good option to balance our budget with the amount of money the government currently has. DEFICIT REMOVED; SURPLUS TO BE GAINED This budget proposal will remove the current deficit of 1,479,578,014 ALO and will bring in a surplus of 1,020,421,986 ALO. This will be very beneficial to Alorian taxpayers and the government. REFORMIST BUDGET By imposing a slight decrease in the budget, we are creating a reform that can be adjusted well by the government and will not cause any huge side effects caused by sudden revolutionary decreases in the budget. |
