| This bill aims to increase the retirement age from 58 to 65. Based on the regional details of the 5 States of Aloria, the workforce between the ages 15 to 65 comprise approximately 60% of the population in every State. By forcing them to retire at an earlier age, we are depriving these workers of the opportunity to continue their work for themselves and their family while depriving ourselves of having a significant amount of workers to keep the economy running. This is most especially true in Krentori (http://classic.particracy.net/viewregion.php?regionid=19), where the number of people within the 60-65 age range is comparable to the other age range. Bear in mind that the workforce for those within the ages 15-65 is around 60% for every State. Eliminating the workers aged 58-65 would decrease our workers to around 50-55% per State. Thus, we believe, the retirement age should be raised. Special considerations may be done, however, for specific types of jobs wherein the continued performance of the job may lead to the deterioration of one's health, such as mining. It may have been a mistake on our part to have the age decreased. Now we intend to correct that mistake. |
