Bill: Act of Free Worship

Details

Submitted by[?]: Coalition for National Unity [CNU]

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2743

Description[?]:

"The CMP appreciate that religions are not Corporations. We know that all money taken in, are acts of charity and good faith from the public. If the public wanted this money to be given to the Government, they wouldn't give it to the Church. The Church is there to look after and nurture the spiritual well being of the Solentian people, and we do not want to see the trust between minister and parishoner, abused. This law as it stands, serves only to persecute religions and to end people's support of the Church. We therefore propose change."

-Shadow Secretary for Religion and Spirituality: Eoghan Duffy
