| Message | The Socialist Party opposes the inefficient and greedy free market system on the railways that finds making a profit more important than running trains on time, personal comfortable travel or even basic security like upgrading outmoded safety net which was the determined cause of 3 of the 5 train crashes in the last year. Free market greed costs lives, is highly expensive and commuters are packed in trains like sardines. While this bill is a step in the right direction from our current situation, it's a step back from the "Transportation Changes" bill and therefore we vote No. |
