Message | Response to the Nationalist Party. OOC: The AAP could be considered socialist-leaning... as they are designed as a collective of factions, rather than a cohesive whole. However, the AAP are RATIONAL socialists... and RATIONAL libertarians, if it comes to that. That means we vote pragmatically... and often 'moderately'. Regarding the bill you proposed... the AAP view is that we COULD support Article 1, and we DO support Article 3... but we consider Article 2 to be retrogressive - since market forces ALREADY 'nationalise' (to a limited extent) industries that are important and of impaired productivity. As the AAP sees it - why nationalise an industry that is already perfectly functional? |
