| Be it enacted upon the Emperor's most Illustrious and Lutheran Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the representatives of the people of Greater Hulstria, in this present Imperial Diet assembled: An Act to authorize the temporary use of extraordinary powers by members of His Majesty's Government ARTICLE I - Short title and etc. 1) This Act may be cited as the Authorization for Use of Temporary Powers (AUTP) 2) This Act shall come into force immediately upon the approval of the Imperial Diet. ARTICLE II - 1) The Governor-General of the Imperial Crownlands shall have the authority to deploy personnel and materiale of His Majesty's Imperial Navy to protect sea-going vessels flagged or registered in the Imperial Crownlands of Greater Hulstria. 2) The Foreign Affairs Minister and Defense Minister shall be able to recommend to the Governor-General deployment options to protect Hulstrian flagged or registered vessels. 3) The Governor-General shall inform the Imperial Diet and Cabinet of all deployments made pursuit to this Act as soon as possible. 4) The Staatsminister, Foreign Affairs Minister, and Defense Minister shall have the authority by 2/3rds vote to cancel deployments by the Governor-General. 5) This Act shall stay in force no longer than eighteen (18) months after its passage. |
