| Renee, the rightful Queen of Lourenne and sister of our King, has been able to escape house arrest along with her daughter Isabelle. The two were greeted in Labonne by Léopold II and are now spending time with the family after years spent in confinement and a forced marriage. Renee's dethronement has angered many people, including members of the Rildanorian Government and the International Monarchist League. The usurper, Sebastien Dorat, has no legal recognition as monarch of Lourenne and we are compelled to organize deliberations as to what to do with the tyrant. We understand that we now have the support of the majority of the Senate and can successfully push for war. PROPOSAL: 1. Deployment: - 4th Fleet, including 2 aircraft carriers and an unspecified number of cruisers, destroyers, and transport/supply ships - Between 10,000-30,000 troops will accompany the fleet - 2. Mandate/Objective - Blockade of Lourennian ports, harbours, and entryways - Air strikes on military and economic targets - Optional objective: Ground war to be initiated if the Government of Rildanor deems it necessary |

| Message | Friends, this is unnecessary, not to mention in violation of the two-hundred-year-old Lourenne-Rildanor Fellowship Treaty: http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=946 The tyrant Dorat has been seen for what he is, and there is already a movement within the party to remove him from power and try him for treason, kidnapping, and false imprisonment. Here is what we propose, and I believe the offer is rather generous, considering your legislature's leap to war without so much as consulting our embassy: Lourenne will hold early elections, and our party, the PMDF, will throw 100% of its support behind Queen Renée. Dorat will be turned over to authorities in Labonne for trial, to be overseen by your justice department as you see fit. In return, you will rescind this bill and any other sanctions against Lourenne. If you do not accept this quickly and disavow your military aggression, the relations between Lourenne and Rildanor will be irreparably damaged. The Queen is quite popular here now, but may be much less so after she is seen as having led a military assault against the nation. Please, be reasonable. | Message | Very well, Dorat is back in Ferte Desseigne, Haboves in Lourenne (in custody). The queen will appoint representatives to prosecute Dorat, since the current Minister of Justice in Lourenne is himself under indictment for alleged conspiracy in the kidnapping.
