Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: October 2748

Description[?]:

Official Request sent to government officials:

Dear Member of NATO,

The Military Coordination Committee of NATO is hereby requesting a portion of your military to join the upcoming joint training exercises. All members of NATO will participate in such exercises. These joint training exercises will serve the purpose of strengthening our communications and our ability to plan together any future military actions. This also allows our brave men and women a chance to train together and get to know each other. After all, when the time comes, we are all going to be fighting together to protect our homelands.

The Military Coordination Committee requests that some forces from each of the branches of your military participate in these exercises. Please reply to us with the amount of soldiers participating, from what branch, and what equipment will you be utilizing. We highly recommend that you send at least one aircraft carrier group from your Navy, one squadron from your Air Force, and one Brigade from your Army.

Thank you,

Admiral Deloris Babs
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
United Republics of Lodamun
Chairman of the Military Coordination Committee

We propose sending two army corps including infantry, mechanized, and tank divisions, three air groups including fighters and bombers, and two naval task groups, including one carrier group. These troops will be recieving additional training at little to no cost to us. There is really no reason not to approve of this, as it will improve the security of our nation.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).
