Bill: Anti-Religion Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Republican Populist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2748
Description[?]:
The RPP is a strongly atheist movement. Only if we break the church, can we break the power of the noblemen, as religion is the enabler of the elite lifestyle, by ensuring the commoner is brainwashed into accepting his lot in the name of god. Only an atheist society can free the minds of the people, and allow them to fully participate in a democratic society. Down with the clergy! |

Message | The RPP has a number of revelutionary positions, this is one of them. Have no doubt, whilst we may be patient and wait for the support of the people before launching this social revolution, this party was founded as a revelutionary movement. |

Message | Also, this is far more a statement of principles than actual legislation. So don't take it too seriously. |

Message | I will tell you what is disgusting, the jesus camps, the brainwashing, and the young children abused and yelled at until they are forced to believe something which they know cannot be logically true. It is disgusting to take away the right to think for yourself, freely, and not according to some rule-book. That is what is disgusting. |

Message | So, banning any form of religion and banning people from wearing religious clothing in pubiic, that gives people the right to think for themselves freely? Utter hypocrisy. |

Message | While I am an atheist, and agree with article one, I cannot stand by and allow liberty to be trashed by the government. I will vote against this bill in the name of individual liberty. |

Message | Once again, we remind the assembly that this is mostly a pre-election manifesto than legislation. OOC: And wow, activity in Vorona has really gone up. |
