We cannot say that pornography is only normal film industry because it has serious ethical conotations. Thus in the spirit of de-centralization we propose that these issues should be addressed by the regional governments according to the popular opinion of the regions (which are different from one region to another). | Message | We can certainly support this - prostitution and pornography are moral and social issues, and, as experience has often proven, the federal government is an ineffective means through which to achieve moral and social ends, and any attempt to use it for this purpose is problematic for many reasons. It is better that these controversial issues, which will never reach unanimous consensus throughout the nation, be settled at the local level, so that decisions are made closer to the families and communities most affected by them. |
