Bill: Domestic Pet freedom act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Individualism Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2752
Description[?]:
Individuals should be able to keep domestic animals as pets without the need for registration. These animals are of no harm to anyone, and there is no reason to require official registration when you buy one. In many cases, needless registration policies will make people less likely to adopt pets, and this is bad for many pets who may otherwise find loving homes. |

Proposal[?] to change The government's policy regarding the ownership of domestic animals as pets.
Old value:: People must register domestic animals with the local government.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
