Bill: Television Freedom Act.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2128

Description[?]:

This bill allows for explicit content including hardcore pornograrphy, to be shown any time on television. It is up to the individual and not government. People should be allowed to watch anything if they choose to. It is the job of the parents of children to to prevent access to pornography. The government is not a babysitter nor are we moral crusaders. This is about freedom of choice.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.

Random quote: "Hatred is not, and should never be considered as another form of freedom of expression." - Icarion Dadhelus, former Selucian politician
