Message | Insert the usual arguments about how this will increase the crime rate & recidivism. I won't bother to type them out again, since the forced labour crowd is not persuaded by facts. |
Date | 18:51:56, October 18, 2005 CET | From | Tuesday Is Coming | To | Debating the Punishing Disobedience II |
Message | I will only vote in favor if the voluntary work bill has a chance of passing. I would prefer to have the law remain as-is. |
Date | 19:01:43, October 19, 2005 CET | From | Cooperative Commonwealth Federation | To | Debating the Punishing Disobedience II |
Message | Let's settle it by a cage match: Sister Julia Butterfly Moonbeam Terrasdaughter will fight Mella, Acolyte of Truth, using a weapon of Mella's choice. Tickets available for LOD$5 per person, free for prisoners. |
Date | 23:26:02, October 19, 2005 CET | From | Tuesday Is Coming | To | Debating the Punishing Disobedience II |
Message | Mella is willing to participate in such a match. Her skills at combat are less than optimal, but given the correct weapon, this becomes irrelevant. |
Date | 04:20:26, October 20, 2005 CET | From | Cooperative Commonwealth Federation | To | Debating the Punishing Disobedience II |
Message | Any weapons she wants, as long as it's bio-degradable. Celery sticks, perhaps. |
Date | 05:19:58, October 20, 2005 CET | From | Tuesday Is Coming | To | Debating the Punishing Disobedience II |
Message | That's not what you originally proposed. However, Mella is willing to die for the cause, but we find it likely that her opponent will be the one to fal. |
