Bill: Law Enforcement Nationalisation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Socialiste National
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2759
Description[?]:
Until now, our government funded, police force has been controlled and restricted by local governing bodies. Although we should continue to allow State Authorities to have involvement in the distribution and consultation of our police force, we must ensure that our law enforcement is the best it can be to protect, defend and serve our people. This bill is proposed to extend the arm of the law and alter it's operational tactics in the light of recent bills put to the house. |

Message | This seems unnecessary and inefficient. There are over 288 million residents of Kanjor; local governments would have a much easier job of deciding where and how to fund and place police departments and where they are necessary. They would not need to go through the very large (and relatively slow) national government or system. Local governments are closer to the "spot" of the action and better able to determine the correct course of action. This is like expecting the High Command of an army to determine where a platoon of soldiers will place their heavy weapons squad ... unecessary and to much micromanagment to be efficient. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
