Bill: School Prayer Common Sense Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2760
Description[?]:
If all schools are required to be religious in nature, why is the current law "teacher-led prayer forbidden in all but religious schools?" It should just be "teacher-led prayer is encouraged." (Not "teacher-led prayer is mandatory," because I imagine some children do not share the religious faith of their parents.) |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy with respect to prayer in schools.
Old value:: Teacher-led prayers in schools are forbidden, except in religious schools.
Current: The government leaves this decision up to the schools themselves.
Proposed: Teacher-led prayers in schools are encouraged.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
