| A new Hobrazia needs no use for antiquated military practices. As such, the following measures will be enforced: Provision I: The use of land mines for any reason shall be prohibited. Land mines are indiscriminate killers that will just as easily kill or maim an innocent civilian as they would an enemy. We have the necessary weaponry to adequately engage enemy combatants, thus rending the use of land mines obsolete. Provision II: Mandatory conscription shall henceforth be abolished. History has proven that the best armies are composed of professionals. Furthermore, it is unethical to forcefully make our children enter the armed forces. However, the option of conscription will remain in only the most dire of wartime scenarios. |
