Bill: An Act to Improve the Health of the Nation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Majatran Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2128

Description[?]:

This bill is about basic human rights.

The right to know what your eating - the package must be labelled in a way that doesnt take a degree to understand.

The right to medication - noone should be forced into debt just to pay for medicine to save their life. Everyone should have the basic right to life, which involves drugs if needed to continue living.

The right to have access to sporting facilities - not just the wealthy should have access to these sports clubs. How many deprived children do you think can afford to be doing sports that require expensive equipment. We are going for the moderate version (ie allowing private clubs to continue) to placate the capitalists, but surely you cannot vote against providing the poorest people in this country a chance to exercise, enjoy themselves and potentially make a career.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "Politics is perhaps the only profession for which no preparation is thought necessary." - Robert Louis Stevenson
