Bill: BNR Act for Freer Enterprise
Details
Submitted by[?]: Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2763
Description[?]:
Before this is sent out for voting, I will give a grace period when any party can ask me to propose a certain Article separately because, for example, they don't support that article but don't want to smash down the whole bill for that one article. Reasoning: 1 - We must make sure someone is not under something like an outstanding arrest warrant before letting them leave the country. 2 - I feel like a private company that provides, say, food or water, is fairly important in emergency situations like economic depressions and should not be allowed to fail. 3 - Often, the choking bureacracy of the government makes train development and deployment take longer than it should. While we should keep the national train company, we should allow private input as well, so as not to create a government-run monopoly. 4 - During WWII, the U.S. and USSR were not "close" allies, yet if both were to survive they had to help each other out. Plus, it is a chance for defense companies to make a little more money for the economy. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
