| This bill aims to reduce foreign aid given by Aloria to moderate levels. The money used to give the aid comes from the people's taxes, and it does not sound well to hear that a very large percentage of the taxes that our taxpayers are paying will be for the benefit of other nations. We understand the spirit of friendship, especially in the international community. But as members of the Alorian government, our people should be first and not the people of other nations. Also, based on the legislative history of the Parliament, the members are against the withdrawal of the treaty for the Artanian Free Trade Organisation. (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=1321) If that is the case, then it gives the parties involved more reason to VOTE YES to this proposal. |
