Description[?]:
"Aloria is a nation of opportunity! And I believe that EVERY Alorian must have an opportunity. An opportunity to a better life, to whealth, to succes! No one must live in poverty. 1) Every elder Alorian has the right to continue their good life after they've retired. The state operates a compulsory public system. Private pensions are offcourse allowed, and they are optional. We don't want to mess up our free economy and our private system. 2) The State guarantees child benefit to both low-income families and large families. Every child has the right on succes in the future. Children who live in poverty, are never able to become succesful and to get a better life. In most cases, it's because parents don't have the money to support their children financial. Therefor we think that every child has the right to receive a child benefit." Message | Of course Alorians have the right to the good life after they have retired, but why should tax payers (who are possibly not enjoying such a good life themselves) foot the bill? There are many instances when people have been born into poverty but worked their way up into a successful life. Why should the state intervene? That contravenes the very essence of a free market. Oppotunity for all, not benefits for some paif for by the people who are successful. We regrettably have to vote no on these proposals. |
