Bill: Prison Overcrowding and Rioting

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2766

Description[?]:

A statement to the Democratic Republic of Aloria from Jonathan O'Donnel, Ministry of Justice
August 2765

As the members of this house will be aware, there have been a number of incidences of rioting in Alorian jails due in part to prison over-crowding.
Since spending in the Justice department has been increased in the last budget I suggest the construction of 5 new jails in the 5 state capitals of Aloria.
This will reduce prison size across the nation and prevent overcrowding that has in the past resulting in much damage to the prison infrastructure.
