Bill: Radio and TV national stations
Details
Submitted by[?]: Capitalizt Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2128
Description[?]:
National Radio and TV stations use taxpayers' money to offer a cheap quality service or at least nothing of extraordinary compared to other private companies. This leads to a waste, not to mention the corruption. We therefore ask the shutdown of national Radio and TV stations and give full power to private competition. |

Message | These channels provide high quality, educational and informational content that might very well be ignored by Private media. All this bill does is guarantee the "dumbing down" of media content and providing programmes for the "popular mass market". We vote no and implore that all other Parties do the same. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
