Message | We support, as the threat of war is injurious to commerce, as well as the population in general. |

Message | The LPE is torn. While always supporting the furhtering of international relations and cooperation, we are not sure that we want to put the country into a position whereby we are forced to go to war without the means or the support, or against another ally who is more important to us than the member of NATO they are fighting. However, on balance, and since there is an opt out clause, we will be in support of joining NATO. |

Date | 06:11:13, October 20, 2005 CET | From | Representative Party | To | Debating the Likatonian Government Treaty Proposal - Ratification of the Northern Area Treaty Organisation (NATO) |
Message | We oppose this treaty as article 7 of the the treaty surrenders too much power to the NATO council. We should not allow our military and security policy to be decided by a majority vote of the member states. However our party does support collective defence in principle. |
Date | 11:15:38, October 20, 2005 CET | From | Right Wing Liberals Party | To | Debating the Likatonian Government Treaty Proposal - Ratification of the Northern Area Treaty Organisation (NATO) |
Message | I oppose on the grounds of Article 11 and because it conflicts with the stance already taken by some parties. |
