Bill: Gambling Act of 2128.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2128

Description[?]:

This bill removes restictions on gambling and removes the regulations. We believe that gambling is already widespread due to the difficulty of enforcement of the current law. If people can gamble in casinos, then they can gamble anywhere they choose. This removes the law that is on the books, as that is all the current law is: A law that doesn't serve any purpose,

MessageIf people choose to gamble, then let them. They are already gambling anyway, so this makes it easier for those trying to enforce the current law.

MessageWe disagree that the current laws are unenforcible, in fact they are easily enforcible.
If people wish to gamble they already can, in licensed casinos so that they can guarantee that quality of service and security is of a high standard, and in their own homes. There is no requirement for changing these laws except to allow unscrupulous people to swindle people out of their money.
We vote no.
