Message | Mainly opposed to articles such as "If one nation is attacked by an opposing force, the other must provide either immediate financial or military assistance or both, at their choosing to the said nation; the signatory nations, if they choose to provide financial aid, have the right to determine the total amount." Even with provision to override this with a 2/3 rds vote, it's a commitment we should not have to make. |
Date | 23:12:28, June 24, 2009 CET | From | Konstitutionelle Monarchie Partei | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawals |
Message | It is a defense pact, what do you expect out of such? Vorona and Hulstria can reject to give any assistance, did you read that part? |
Date | 23:46:46, June 24, 2009 CET | From | Kolonial Partei | To | Debating the Treaty Withdrawals |
Message | Yes, with a two-thirds vote. Meaning if war hawks gain control of the Diet, it will be impossible to block any type of war resolutions. |
