Bill: Act Against the Pontesians Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Corrupt Dealings Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2778

Description[?]:

The Pontesi government has refused to recognize the legitimate government in Gaduridos and has refused to accept that the Partidos de los Agricultores have won the elections in a smashing fashion. Furthermore, the Pontesi government (of which Gaduridos is a protectorate) has threatened provocative action to quell the pro-indepence movement within Gaduridos. And since Gaduridos is our neighbor and her people are in need of protection against Pontesi, the Baltusian Senate must act.

ON THIS DAY, the Baltusian Senate, in the presence of the almighty God, does withdraw her ambassador to Pontesi.

ON THIS DAY, all Pontesi journalists, reporters, and visitors are given one day upon passage of this law to leave the country. Otherwise, they shall be jailed on felony charges.

ON THIS DAY, the Baltusian Senate no longer recognizes the Pontesi Protectorate of Gaduridos, but instead recognizes the leadership of Pepe Soledad and the People of Gaduridos.

ON THIS DAY, the Baltusian Senate closes all trade and immigration to Pontesi and calls back any missionaries within Pontesi back to Baltusia for security reasons.

With a Majority in Favor, May we Pass this Resolution!
