Message | Back when the United Nations of Terra were created, the New Whig party suggested we join this organisation, but unfortunately the ratification did not achieve the required super-majority. Meanwhile, it has become one of the larger treaty organisations on Terra, and we believe that our legislature should reconsider its opposition of the past. It would have been beneficial for Aldegar's position within the United Nations of Terra had we joined as one of the early members, because we would have had the chance to become one of the permanent members of the Security Council, but, alas, that was not to be. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
